the BoneDevil (part one)

Satan versus God,
Trident versus Claymore.
God took a heavy throw,
Right down through the horn.
Started a chain reaction,
In the womb of mother earth it was implanted.
Hot magma spewing out,
and tectonic action.
God said to Satan
“Can ya feel it kickin’,
causing mass extinction?”
The Tyrant and Saviour had to call a meeting.
From the womb of mother earth,
the Bonedevil will emerge.
Eons of gestation,
Generations come and gone,
Satan was somewhere sleepin’
while God was probably on the john.
Now the hour’s upon us,
The Bonedevil wailed hard as it clawed the surface.

Chickenpox

Infecting everyone around you, floating through the room.
Airbourne and contagious, you've got nothin' better to do.
Hit me with your sickness, and bind me to my home.
Scratching on the itches through the flesh and bone.
A fever like an inferno, it's burning down the house.
There ain't no cure to keep them flames from breaking out.
Hell hath not the fury to keep me in the ground,
so Moloch take your bounty from some other child now.
Confined by ghastly illness, I'm strapped down to the bed.
This chronic state of weakness is drivin' me out of my head.
I thought you had the vaccine to push into my veins,
but you're just the coal man, stokin' the fire on the train.

the BoneDevil Oshawa, Ontario
The BoneDevil appears as a humanoid husk, with dried skin stretched tight across its skeletal frame. It bears a fearsome skull-like head and the tail of a scorpion, and a foul odour of decay hangs in the air around it.
